Summary
Conference Manager does not create user profiles and does not track users across apps or websites.
The app is primarily a local viewer for conference data supplied by organizers.
What data the app processes
Downloaded conference data
The app downloads conference information provided by organizers. This may include schedules, sessions, papers,
authors, room and building data, maps, and conference news. This information is stored locally on the device
so attendees can use it inside the app.
Locally saved app data
The app stores selections such as My Schedule, My Reading List, and app preferences locally on the device
so attendees can keep track of sessions and papers they care about.
Optional location access
If you grant location permission, Conference Manager can use your current location to help orient you on venue maps.
Location access is optional and is not used for tracking or analytics.
User-initiated communication
The app can open email messages that you choose to send, for example when sharing a paper, reporting a mistake,
asking a question about a session, or using the "Meet me here" feature. These actions happen only when you trigger them.
Web and PDF links
Conference Manager can open webpages and PDF links that belong to conference content. Those external destinations
are controlled by their respective providers.
What Conference Manager does not do
No advertising
Conference Manager does not show ads and does not use advertising SDKs.
No tracking
Conference Manager does not use analytics or third-party tracking for marketing, profiling, or cross-app behavior analysis.
No account required
You do not need to create an account to use the app.
Your control
Permissions
You can decide whether to allow location access and can change that decision at any time in iOS Settings.
Deletion
Removing the app from your device also removes its locally stored conference data and personal lists from that device.
