Dr. rer. nat. Andrey Krekhov

Biography

Andrey Krekhov received his bachelor's degree in computer science from the Saarland University in 2011 and his master's degree in computer science at the same institution in 2012. He successfully defended his dissertation on "How to Improve Your Virtual Experience - Exploring the Obstacles of Mainstream VR" in 2019 and graduated as Dr. rer nat.

Areas of Research

Andrey's work contributes to the field of HCI by exploring perception phenomena in VR, digital games, and visualization. Right now, he focuses on nonhumanoid avatars in VR and alternative VR navigation techniques.
