BorgVR has no ads, no user accounts, and no third-party tracking. The app stores datasets and settings locally unless you explicitly open remote data or start collaboration features.

BorgVR can open, import, cache, and store volume datasets on your device. Dataset files may contain scientific, medical, engineering, or other content chosen by you.

The app stores settings such as render mode, transfer functions, isovalues, clipping state, background colors, server entries, and performance preferences locally.

If you open remote datasets or use collaboration, BorgVR uses network connections to load data, synchronize state, or make the currently open dataset available to participants.

SharePlay sessions can synchronize dataset identity, visualization settings, clipping state, and interaction state between participants. Dataset transfer may use local ad-hoc server connections.

On Apple Vision Pro, optional system permissions such as microphone, speech recognition, and world sensing may be used for voice interaction and spatial collaboration features.

BorgVR does not show ads and does not use advertising SDKs.

BorgVR does not use third-party tracking for marketing or cross-app profiling.

You do not need to create an account to use the app.

BorgVR does not automatically upload your datasets to the developer. Network transfer happens only when you choose remote data or collaboration features.

You can remove imported or cached datasets and settings from inside the app or by deleting the app, subject to normal system backup behavior.

You can change or revoke system permissions at any time in iOS, iPadOS, macOS, or visionOS Settings.
