Summary
ShortShot is designed to manage reminder photos locally on your device. There are no user accounts, no ads, no third-party tracking, and no sale of personal data.

What data the app processes

Photos
When you capture an image with ShortShot, that image is stored within the app so you can access it again later.
Time data
For each image, the app stores the capture time so it can prioritize relevant active images and apply automatic expiration rules.
Location data
If you grant location access, ShortShot can store the capture location so it can prioritize relevant images when you are nearby later. Without that permission, location-based features are unavailable or limited.
Settings
App settings such as retention duration or trash behavior are stored locally on the device.
Apple Watch
If you use a paired Apple Watch, active images and related information may be transferred to the watch so they can be shown there.

What ShortShot does not do

No analytics
ShortShot does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
No accounts
The app does not require registration and does not send profile data to an external service for its core functionality.

Your control

Deletion
You can delete images directly inside the app. Depending on your settings, they are then removed immediately or kept in the trash for a short time.
Permissions
You can change or revoke camera and location permissions for ShortShot at any time in iOS Settings.
